Contribution Policy: DearCinema is an open platform. Anyone can read and write here however publication of posts on the site is governed by our editorial policy. We try our best to publish all the contribution submitted to us however at times this might not be possible if our editors decide otherwise. In such a scenario we would try our best to communicate the reasons to the contributor however we don't promise that. If you want to send a contribution, please note that we encourage critical pieces and leave the gossips/celebrity news etc for the others. We've no set word count for an ideal post however we suggest to break posts longer that 700 words into two parts. We accept posts in English only however depending on the merit of the post we might consider posts written in Hindi. In this case posts written in Unicode font should be submitted to us.
Editorial Policy: We would try our level best to publish each and every post that's on cinema however we encourage posts which are in-depth and critically inclined. We encourage our authors to write on world cinema, non Bollywood Indian cinema, short films, documentaries and student films apart from Bollywood and Hollywood. Please do try to keep the language simple, sentences shorter and divided into smaller paragraphs to make it reader-friendly. Please do cross check facts and spelling before submitting a post. Contributions with wrong facts might be returned to the author. We've no objection if contributor quotes from any other review/article published elsewhere on the web. However please attribute it to source. Plagiarism is unacceptable and authors found guilty of it could be blacklisted.
Comments Policy: DearCinema encourages readers to leave their comments on individual posts. However we're against anonymous comments. A commentator must fill in his/her real name and email ID before submitting comments. Comments are not moderated unless they fall within technical definition of spam. Comments should be relevant to the post and shouldn't attack the author personally. Comments should be written in a language suitable for all. DearCinema.com reserves the right to edit or delete comments that are off-topic, personal attacks or use explicit language. By submitting a comment you grant DearCinema a perpetual license to reproduce your words and name/web site in attribution.
